Asker, Norway 10 September 2009 - Metronor AS and BAE Systems have signed two contracts related to Metronor’s advanced boresight system technology, referred to as HarmoLign.
Asker, Norway 9 September 2009 - Metronor AS and BAE Systems have signed a Teaming Agreement for cooperation in the field of advanced boresight systems for US made weapon system platforms.
Korea Aerospace Industries Ltd (KAI) and Metronor AS have signed a contract for development and delivery of a new boresight system for KAI’s T-50 Golden Eagle Advanced Jet Trainer.
BAE Systems has awarded Metronor AS an additional Harmolign boresight system contract. The contract covers development and supply of a new configuration of the Harmolign boresight system for BAE Systems' Hawk jet trainer. The system will replace a legacy boresight solution with an existing Hawk operator, and will also be applicable for a number of other marks of Hawk trainers in use with air forces around the world.
BAE Systems has awarded Metronor AS a follow-on order for development and delivery of a HarmoLign boresight/harmonization system for the RAF Advanced Jet Trainer. This order brings total HarmoLign for Hawk orders past 4,5 million USD. The HarmoLign System was originally developed under contract with BAE Systems and this follow-on order confirms that the system meets the tough capability and life cycle cost requirements of the customer.
Metronor AS and Saab have signed an agreement for development and adaptation of an electro-optical system for boresight/harmonization of the helmet tracker system for the Saab Gripen Helmet Mounted Display and Sight System. The final approval of the agreement by the Swedish authorities is expected shortly.
